Master Traditional Bronze Hollow Casting in a Hands-On Alpine Course
Experience a hands-on weeklong bronze casting workshop near the Austrian Alps and master the traditional lost-wax casting process. Ideal for beginners and advanced artists, this immersive course teaches you to sculpt delicate filigree designs in wax, mold your model, and cast it in bronze using professional techniques.
From Monday to Tuesday, work closely with expert instructors to shape your wax model. The professional art caster then handles the molding, burnout, and bronze pouring process. While your piece cools, attend a detailed theory session covering every step of hollow bronze casting, including finishing methods.
By the end of this bronze sculpture course, you’ll take home a custom, hand-finished bronze artwork crafted by you, gaining valuable skills in traditional metal casting techniques.

Pricing & Accommodation
Week-long Course: €945
The course runs from Monday to Saturday, with 7.5 hours of instruction each weekday and 3.5 hours on Saturday. Daily lunch and drinks are included, along with a celebratory group dinner on Friday.
Two-Week Course: €1795
The course runs from Monday to Saturday, with 7.5 hours of instruction each weekday and 3.5 hours on Saturday. Sunday is free to relax or explore the area around the studio. Daily lunch and drinks are included, along with a celebratory group dinner on the last Friday.
Please note: A €30 materials fee covers workshop supplies excluding bronze and wax. Bronze and wax are charged separately at their exact cost based on your usage. Due to furnace limitations, each participant may cast one piece only (maximum 28 cm height, 4 cm thickness). Larger or multiple pieces can be arranged at additional cost.
Accommodation: To ensure a fully immersive experience, on-site accommodation is required. A range of room types is available. We’ll coordinate your booking after registration at no extra charge. Rates vary (€85–€200/night).
